Web design on the Côte Bleue
Between Le Rove and Carro, business follows the sea and the seasons: harbors, coves, beaches, restaurants and vacation rentals. A website here exists first to be found on a phone by someone who is already there.
Six areas, six local economies
Le Rove
The gateway to the Côte Bleue, right on the edge of Marseille. The Roquebarbe business park is home to about 170 establishments, most of them in construction, and the village is the birthplace of brousse du Rove, which holds the AOP label.
Ensuès-la-Redonne
A village spread over three centers and linked to Marseille by the TER regional train. Its calanques, La Redonne, Figuières and Méjean, draw walkers and boaters.
Carry-le-Rouet
A seaside resort wrapped around a marina of more than 550 berths, known for its oursinade, a sea urchin festival held every February since 1956.
Sausset-les-Pins
A marina and fishing harbor with over 500 berths in the middle of the village, a golf course, and night markets through the summer.
La Couronne
The beach district of Martigues: Plage du Verdon with its bars, its restaurants and its seasonal rentals.
Carro
A working fishing port with a fish market every morning, and a spot for surfing and windsurfing.
The websites people ask me for here
Restaurants and bars
The menu, the hours, directions, and table booking when it keeps the phone quiet in the middle of a shift.
Booking for a restaurantLodging and rentals
Photos, up-to-date availability, and a booking request sent straight to you instead of through a platform.
Water sports
Diving, sailing, board sports: show the outings on offer and take sign-ups ahead of the season and during it.
Tradespeople and producers
Display finished jobs or products, and collect quote requests or orders.
A project done locally
In Sausset-les-Pins, I planned and built the website of a municipal campaign: policy platform, news, calendar and volunteer sign-up.
Getting ahead of the season
A showcase website takes 2 to 4 weeks once your copy and photos are in hand. If you open in spring, winter is when to begin.
I visit you where you work, and the trip is not billed. The off-season also happens to be when you have time for that conversation.
Frequently asked questions
Do you travel out to the Côte Bleue?
Yes, at no cost, anywhere from Le Rove to Carro. The opening meeting and the final handover happen at your place; the stretch in between runs on video calls and written messages.
When should the website be started to be ready by summer?
Plan on 2 to 4 weeks for a showcase website, counted from the day your content is ready. Begin in winter and it is online before the visitors return.
Can online booking be added?
Yes. Booking is not part of the starting showcase website. I price it by custom quote, depending on whether a plain request form will do or you want real-time availability.
Is a website enough for vacationers to find me?
It is half of the answer. The other half is your Google listing, which I connect to the website: hours, address, photos and booking link must match in both places.
